Meet Dave First Official Trailer

Meet Dave, wich was formerly known as Starship Dave, is an upcoming sci fi comedy movie directed by Brian Robbins and starring Afro-American actor Eddie Murphy.

Here below the first offical teaser trailer of Meet Dave:

The Plot:
"The story of a crew of miniature, human-looking aliens who are seeking a way to save their doomed world. Eddie Murphy will play the human spacecraft they travel in (Starship Dave) as well as the ship's captain." (Source: Wikipedia)

So Meet Dave is a combination of Star Trek and Being John Malkovich plus some references to Mini-Me in Austin Power.

A nice mix to provoke laugh, though not sure to laugh out loud with Meet Dave...

For me the best movie starring Eddie Murphy so far is still Beverly Hills Cop. But well, that was twenty years ago. Difficult to renew with succes sometimes. Maybe Meet Dave will bring Eddie Murphy back under the spotlights, but I doubt so...
